Employer Sponsored Retirement Plan

An employer-sponsored retirement plan is a category of retirement benefits provided to employees at little or no cost as part of their compensation package. Common examples of these plans are 401(k) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

These programs are designed to help workers save for retirement by contributing a portion of their pre-tax income, often with the added advantage of employer matching contributions.
